One faction in the village has accused local strongmen of damaging the statues with bricks and stones, escalating an ongoing dispute between two community groups. Following the incident, the atmosphere in the village has become tense, with locals claiming the act was intended to incite caste-based conflict.

A case has been registered in Ayodhya's cyber thana. After receiving the complaint, the cyber cell launched an investigation into the case. According to reports, the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust received a threat mail on Monday night. The mail threatened temple authorities to increase security on the temple premises.
