Biography
I like to write about Bitcoin stuff, hardware devices which enable personal sovereignty, and cypherpunk culture. This interest of mind stems from the disillusionment I've had with the financial system and the banking system from a pretty young age. I don't view Bitcoin as a factor for radical change that will overthrow our current institutions and power structures, but think it will build fairer relations with our governments and allow us all to negotiate our positions. Autonomy, privacy, self-sovereignty, independence, and freedom are five of the core values that I believe in. As a political science graduate, I'm not a fan of big government but can understand why we need minimal governments as Leviathans which ensure the application of laws. As a PhD candidate in political philosophy, I'm looking at how new technologies advance faster than law and ethics. Before legislators and philosophers come up with solutions, the questions to the problems have already changed. The uncertainty is just part of the journey.
Mostly Bitcoin
Sensationalistic, tabloid-style journalism. I also resent the dishonesty of the whole blockchain industry and will most likely stay away from hype pieces about it.
