The poll released Tuesday found voters would view their local legislators more favorably if they enacted a smoking ban, and would view Gov. Phil Murphy similarly if he signed it into law. It was commissioned by Americans for Nonsmokers’ Rights and the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids.
