I'm an award-winning freelance journalist/content provider specializing in arts, lifestyle & entertainment, travel, food and dining, and the occasional political piece. I've written for the Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, Austin American-Statesman, Austin Way, Austin Monthly, Boston Phoenix, Village Voice, Spin, Fodor's Travel Guides, Business Central Europe, The Meeting Professional, and many other publications. I particularly enjoy doing interviews and profiles. I'm also an experienced copy editor and proofreader. I make my home in Austin, Texas, following previous lives in New York, Boston, and Ljubljana, Slovenia. In Ljubljana I originated the first blog, to my knowledge, created in Slovenia by a non-native of that country. I've been actively blogging ever since. While in Slovenia I traveled extensively in the region, writing travel articles about that country along with Croatia and Romania. I welcome meaningful opportunities which would allow me to showcase my proven abilities, wealth of knowledge, and unique style as a communicator. I'm also open to investigating leads into wrongdoing on the part of prominent people in the arts/entertainment industry.
