Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks is closing in on the acquisition of the former home of the Montana Army National Guard’s 143rd Military Police Detachment by the Lewistown airport. According to Bill Schenk, FWP’s lands program manager, the ownership transfer between the agency and the Montana Department of Military Affairs is in process.
