  • Exeter author DuBois sentenced to 3½ to 7 years

    By Will Martino| New Hampshire Union Leader Verified Exeter-based bestselling author Brendan DuBois pleaded guilty Thursday to four Class A felony charges of of possessing child sexual abuse images. DuBois, 64, reached a plea deal with prosecutors and was sentenced to two concurrent terms of 3½ to 7 years for two of the charges. He was given two suspended sentences of 7½ to 15 years for the other two charges, meaning the sentences could be imposed after the original sentences if he fails to comply with probation conditions.
