  • House sentenced

District Attorney Akillie Malone-Oliver says a jury found Johnny House Jr. guilty of manslaughter and aggravated assault after a three-day trial earlier this month. The charges are related to the Nov. 20, 2023 death of Christopher Turnage. The death resulted from a disagreement at Wells Ranch in Bentonia, where hundreds of people attended a trail ride event.
