A year later, he obtained another diploma in news gathering and investigative journalism. Over the past three years, Yusuf has made a name for himself as a fearless investigative journalist, uncovering hidden truths and challenging the status quo with his reports. He is a proud Open Contract Reporting Project fellow of the International Centre for Investigative Reporting, and has previously served as the investigative head at AllNews Nigeria and chief reporter at News Live Nigeria. Currently working as a freelance journalist, Yusuf's work has been published by reputable media outlets such as TheICIR, Media Career Development Network, and The SolutionsPaper, among others. He has also contributed his expertise to the TEDxAllianceWay community, serving as the head of budgeting and sponsorship, as well as the chairman of the Local Organising Committee.
