  • UCCS student gets 2 life sentences for killing Pueblo woman, Parker man in dorm shooting

    By Zach Hillstrom Verified| Yahoo Verified A former student at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs was found guilty of murder April 16 for a double homicide in a campus dorm room in February 2024. Nicholas Jordan, 26, was found guilty by a jury of two counts of first-degree murder and received two life sentences in the Colorado Department of Corrections without the possibility of parole. Jordan shot and killed 26-year-old Puebloan Celie Rain Montgomery and 24-year-old Samuel Knopp, of Parker, as they slept on Feb.
