He replaces Billy Miller, who took a position with Bill Belichick at the University of North Carolina. Miller led the Ascenders to a 25-3 record during his three-year stint as head coach. Studrawa becomes IMG's sixth head coach as it heads into the 13th football season in program history. He has plenty of coaching experience, most notably with Ohio State and LSU.
